Studio Safety

  • There is NO sanding or dry sweeping allowed in the studio. Sanding must be done outside.

  • Respirators should be worn in the spray booth.

  • Use the HEPA vac to clean up large, dry messes (sealed system, silica approved)

  • For small messes spray the area down with water and then wipe up.

  • Students are responsible for cleaning up their work areas.

We make every effort to keep the studio as clean and healthy as possible. We run an industrial HEPA air scrubber at all times to minimize any unavoidable dust, mop regularly and change our air systems filters frequently. Every effort should also be made by students to help minimize unnecessary dust.

Studio Policies

Communication:  We communicate mostly through email, so please make sure that info@flemingtonpottery.com is marked as an accepted sender.

Holding work:    We will email you if you have work ready for pick-up after your session ends. All work must be picked up within two weeks of the end of the session. Any work not picked up will be donated or discarded. Please communicate with us if you can’t make it in that time frame to pick up.

Refunds:

There are no refunds or credits within 14 days of the class start date. A refund, minus a 5% processing fee, will be issued if requested more than 14 days prior to the class start date.

Rarely,  circumstances beyond our control, such as inclement weather,  may force us to cancel classes or close the studio. In these circumstances, students will be notified via email as soon as possible. We will make every effort possible to reschedule the canceled class, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed.
